A Channel Using Instagram

A funnel is simply an automated method of guiding a prospect or customer through your sales process, as I've previously stated. It is preferable to keep things simple. I've already discussed digital or internet funnels. A given funnel may incorporate some, many, the majority, or even all of the fundamental components that make them up. 



These components may consist of:
  • a promotion or other means of persuading a lead to enter the funnel
  • the heading
  • A salutation
  • a description of the issue you resolve
  • The remedy you offer
  • Your supply
  • gathering of contact details
  • The acquisition of payment
  • a page of gratitude
  • an acknowledgment message
  • One or more messages that are instructive or relationship-building 

A issue statement, the offer of a lead magnet, the gathering of contact information, and a thank-you/delivery message might make up a brief and straightforward lead generating funnel. It's usually better to "strike while the iron is hot" and make an offer to buy anything as soon as you have their contact information, but we'll cover that in more detail in a moment.

Using DM automation tools, it is now feasible to build a funnel straight within the Instagram Direct Messages stream. For those building a funnel, traffic is frequently the biggest issue and cost. Any Instagram account with 10,000 followers or more has the potential to receive a consistent flow of visitors.

When a prospect DMs an Instagram account, DM automation tools (my marketing firm utilises a product called Chatmatic) let you automate a dialogue with them. You can also start a conversation with someone using Chatmatic if you interact with one of their posts or Instagram Stories.

The interaction itself serves as the funnel; you don't even need to divert the prospect from Instagram, where they feel at ease. Offering the prospect options is made possible by the DM automation tool ( "How damp or dry is your basement? ", "What size shirt do you wear? XL, XXL, Small, Medium, Large "etc.), gather contact details (such as an email address or mobile phone number), and even transmit digital files or information by providing a button with an embedded URL.

You can transfer this data to an email list or other contact database after collecting contact information (name, email, mobile number, birth date, etc.) using the DM automation tool. Most significantly, you can use the Instagram funnel to follow up with your prospect and make a sale linked to the issue your funnel aims to solve within a day. Consider the following scenario: You sell home heating and cooling products, and your automated chat with the prospect was about issues with their basement. Once you have their contact information, you may send them a PDF explaining the benefits of maintaining a consistent temperature and humidity level in basements. You have a 24-hour window in which to follow up with that potential customer on Instagram. Offer to sell them a dehumidifier if they claim their basement is too damp. You can offer them a humidifier if the air is too dry. You can then provide upsells ('Keep your new machine in good form with our maintenance kit: normally $250, now only $198') and downsells ('Don't need the whole kit? Get only the brush and cleaning fluid for $49 + S&H") on your website's sales page or even directly from an Instagram chat.

You can then continue to develop a relationship with the prospect and send them promotional materials by adding the prospect's contact information to a list. Why is it vital to "move followers off the algorithm and onto your list"? Only roughly 8% of your followers will see your posts under the current Instagram method. Around 16% of your list is likely to get an email message, thereby tripling your contact capacity. Additionally, about 90% of recipients open SMS, or text messages, right away!

If you're serious about using Instagram to generate revenue, you must first create a list and then send a sales message to that list. preferable by SMS.
